So many times, we have heard this phrase: I’m not motivated” or “I don’t know what is happening with my life.” In most cases, people lose motivation to perform basic life needs or responsibilities. Such as cleaning of the house, paying the bills, or taking care of themselves. When you enter the dangerous zone, then, your motivation starts to kick in. When you feel disgusted by yourself, and your past behavior begins to have a negative impact on your life. There are several ways to improve your motivation, and we are going to tell you how.
Start with a reading
You need to find out how the human body is working. The brain is a powerful thing, and it has a vast potential to dumps hormones of happiness, such as endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin. These hormones get released at different stages. For example, when you feel important your body releases serotonin. On the other hand, endorphin is a natural opiate, and it is connected with stress and pleasure. Dopamine helps you go forward in succeeding in your goals. But, for your body to release dopamine, you need to take some action.
Try to increase the release of adrenaline
In the beginning, start with small actions and pay at least one bill per week. You shouldn’t consider this practice as common one, but it will pull out your brain from a dangerous zone. In the same time, it will increase the release of adrenaline. Clean your house 15 minutes every day, or maybe half an hour, just to get you motivated. Your body won’t go into hibernation phase if you take small action each day to release dopamine.
Observe things more often
Perception is a powerful motivation, especially if you follow your actions. If you look at the world as boring, dull and painful, you won’t get too far. It means you are already in a dangerous zone. In this case, basic needs such as cleaning the house, showering, walking, driving and so on can become very tiresome and dull.
Explore the things from a different angle
Start from the basic things and be truthful forwards your actions. Sometimes it can be scary, but you need to try. For example, when you wash the dishes, fell the warm water and smell the soap. When you pay the bills, check online your balance, open an envelope, visit a bank. These small steps will help you discover the joy of life again and why you need to fight for it.
Change your thinking
Look at the world in different eyes and be grateful for simple things. Be happy that you have paid your bills, be thankful that your house is clean, be grateful for your friends who will come over and visit you. In the end, be happy that you have a healthy body which can show the appreciation, love, hugs and kisses. Fill your heart with love, only in this way; you will be able to move on.
