Norma: Jeff, please tell me about your company, EnterMarket. Jeff: EnterMarket is a Print Manufacturing/Warehouse Distribution Company. We specialize in the printing and distributing of retail store kits and companies product. We help our clients manage their print solutions from concept to execution. We focus on working with our clients to maximize the effectiveness of their campaign while trying to reduce their overall cost. On the Warehousing & Distribution side of our business we strive to enable our customers to focus on growing their core business and not worry about the distribution of their product to the consumer or retail locations. N: What made you decide to provide greener alternatives? J: EnterMarket decided that in the coming year we would integrate "Green" thinking into our overall business for a couple of reasons. Some of our customers started to ask us about creating and implementing eco-friendly campaigns. Their are numerous companies that provide a "Green" product and are looking to warehouse and distribute them in a environmentally friendly way. We felt as an organization that it was time we conducted ourselves in an environmentally responsible way. N: Please give me specific ways in which you are going green in the different segments of your company.
J: Some of the ways we are going Green
in the different segments of our business are as follows: N: How are you educating your consumers to make more eco-friendly choices? Give me an example in product packaging. J: Ask our existing clients to always think "GREEN" while planning a promotion by using recycled paper and printing with soy based inks for their marketing materials. Giving our packaging clients the option to change from traditional plastic packaging to biodegradable foam and recycled board packaging. N: Jeff, is there anything else you would like to add?
J: In this coming year, we will try to
educate our current clients about using eco-friendly methods to
distribute their product or marketing campaigns. For example, we have done
several campaigns for IBM regarding "Green Marketing." IBM wanted to send
out a DVD of the Discover Channel episode Planet Earth to prospective IT
Managers. EnterMarket worked closely with IBM to develop a eco-friendly
